Sacred Lines

“Sacred Lines” is a creative educational programme designed specifically for young Muslim boys aged 11+. This course aims to develop skills in Arabic Calligraphy, so students can connect with their Qur’anic Heritage and enhance their creativity. Through practical learning and group projects, participants will embark on a journey to strengthen their written use of the Arabic language through Sacred Lines.

Course Objectives:

  • To practice the basics of Arabic calligraphy.
  • To connect with Qur’anic script heritage.
  • To improve creativity and artistic skills.
  • To work together effectively in group projects.
  • To build confidence in writing Arabic.

Target Audience:

This course is tailored for young Muslim boys aged 11+ who are eager to develop their Arabic calligraphy skills, connect with their Qur’anic heritage, and enhance their creativity through practical learning and group projects.

Course Fee: £12 per month

Start date: January 2025

Date: Every Saturday – 10 -11am or 11am – 12pm

 

Course Duration:

The “Sacred Lines” course is designed to be completed over a period of one year with weekly sessions with term breaks and holidays included. Lesson days TBC

By the end of this course, participants will have a solid foundation in Arabic calligraphy, a deeper connection to their Qur’anic heritage, and enhanced creativity. They will be well-prepared to continue their journey as young and confident calligraphers, contributing positively to this art and valuing the beauty of the Arabic script.
