Anis al-Qu’ran literally means ‘Companion of the Qur’an’.
At Anis Al-Qur’an Academy (Companion of the Qur’an Academy), our mission is to empower, support and nurture the youth by fostering a profound connection with the Quran. Through comprehensive education, personalised mentorship, and a supportive community, we aim to inspire young minds to embrace the wisdom of the Quran, nurturing their spiritual growth, intellectual development, and ethical leadership for a brighter future.
Established in October 2021 by dedicated young scholars – Qari Khalil, Mawlana Muhammed, Hafiz Adam and Hafiz Abdur Rahman from Leicester – our passion drives us to provide a variety of programmes and services carefully crafted to address the distinct needs of our youth and community.
Our dream is for our students to deepen their connection with the Qur’an through their studies with us together with spreading its light to others. Insha-Allah

In the words of the Prophet ﷺ:
“إن لله اهلين من الناس” قالوا يا رسول الله مَن هم؟ قال: “هم اهل القرآن اهل الله و خاصته” [سنن ابن ماجه]
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Allah has his own people among mankind. The Sahabah asked: ‘O Messenger of Allah, who are they?’ He ﷺ said: ‘The people of the Qur’ān are the people of Allah and they are his select/elite.” [Sunan Ibn Majah]
Our Mission
- Empowering the youth to build a deep connection with the Qur’ān through comprehensive education, personalised mentorship and a nurturing community.
- Create an environment for learning, perfecting recitation, memorisation, and understanding of the Qur’ān.
- Achieve mastery in Tajwīd and the 7 and 10 Qirā’āt.
- Inspire and equip the next generation of Muslim leaders.
- Develop well rounded scholars in the sciences of Qur’ān.
